Who We Are
Kior Travel is a members-only travel and relocation club, redefining what it means to move through the world. We operate differently from others, by reframing these experiences as pathways to personal growth, cultural understanding, human connection, and genuine pleasure, rather than the hollow convenience of typical tourism. We handle the complexity, provide insight, and create spaces so people can fully engage with the world as themselves at a pace that suits them, whilst building belonging across borders and ensuring the communities involved are respected, supported, and fairly compensated.

In 2022, in New York, a city known for being shaped by migration and reinvention, we found the answer to a question we'd been asking ourselves for years:
Kior Travel was founded to close the gap between the travel industry's promise and its reality by bringing together the richness of culture, lived experience, and exceptional service. We built it for the curious. For those who want to feel something, learn something, and leave a place understanding it differently than when they arrived.
What would travel look like if it offered depth instead of just distance, and connection over passive consumption?
Kior Travel was born in the kinds of spaces that don't make it into guidebooks—late-night gatherings where food was shared freely across crowded tables, where music spilled into conversation and stories were exchanged between accents, traditions, and generations.
Culture in those rooms was so much more than simply something to observe. It was something to taste, hear, feel, inhale and become part of. A welcoming home, evoking deeper understanding on how we differ and where our paths all intertwine. That is how we truly come to understand one another.
Years of living across different countries deepened that perspective. Integrating into communities as they are and not just passing through them, revealed a truth: that home and belonging aren't fixed to a single location. They're something we carry with us and rebuild again and again, shaped by different people, rhythms, and shared moments we encounter along the way.

We exist to bring humanity and depth back to the travel and relocation experience. Our purpose is to help people understand themselves and the world around them more deeply through genuine cultural connection. The sacred, the profane, the celebrated, and the hidden.
We believe culture includes everything: how people eat and how they party, what they build and what they bury, the traditions in guidebooks, the ones that never make it there and the ones that are still evolving. Each experience is designed to reveal places as they actually are, not through the simplified lens of tourism. We transform how people travel by centering local voices and honoring the communities, customs, and ways of life from which broader cultural narratives are born.
