JAMAICA RELIEF
For those impacted by Hurricane Melissa
Kior Travel is raising funds to support people directly on the ground in Jamaica after the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Melissa. Learn more about our response and how you can help.
WHAT HAPPENED?
On October 28th, 2025, Hurricane Melissa, one of the strongest Category 5 hurricanes ever recorded in the Atlantic, tore through the Caribbean.
The storm’s eye passed directly over Jamaica, devastating homes, businesses, and entire communities. Neighboring countries including Cuba, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and Turks and Caicos also suffered severe damage. Many regions remain inaccessible due to flooding, debris, and power outages, with communication lines down across large parts of the island.
Families have been displaced, loved ones separated, and livelihoods completely destroyed.

IMPORTANT UPDATES
DONATE TO JAMAICA
Jamaica is a land built on community and care, where neighbors become family and visitors are welcomed as one of our own. But today, that same spirit of generosity and warmth needs to be returned.
On December 8th, 2025, a dedicated team of volunteers will travel to Westmoreland Parish, one of the areas most devastated by Hurricane Melissa, to deliver direct aid and relief supplies to those in need.

They need your help now more than ever

Your donation will go directly toward:

Essential supplies: Hygiene kits, food, clean water, and emergency resources for affected families and small business owners.
Rebuilding support: Direct financial aid for housing repairs and the replacement of vital belongings lost in the storm.

On-the-ground coordination: Transport and delivery of supplies to the most affected communities, working hand-in-hand with trusted local partners and suppliers.
Every single dollar raised will be used transparently to support those most in need, not through large organizations, but through direct, on the ground community action.

There's a reason Hurricane Melissa became a mega-storm, and that reason is climate change. Experts around the world are in agreement that this hurricane's brutality is almost certainly directly related to how climate change is causing ocean water to heat up dramatically. This hurricane wasn't only intense - it was also...
